As instructor of record, I have taught undergraduate-level classes in Early Modern Philosophy (2022, 2023) and Introduction to Business Ethics (2022, 2023), as well as a graduate-level course in Early Modern Rationalism (2023). As a graduate student, I was a teaching assistant for courses ranging from Aesthetics to Philosophy and Feminism. I have also conducted numerous workshops in podcasting and mentored undergraduate students in areas as diverse as academic research and podcast production. Please see my C.V. for details about my teaching experience and continuing education in pedagogy.

I am invested in inclusive, multimodal pedagogical methods. My teaching is driven by the belief that the tendencies and “talents” that support success in philosophy are, fundamentally, a set of teachable practices. All people think philosophically – whether they realize it or not! – and all students deserve a fair, accessible environment in which to hone their philosophical skills. Further, I believe that everyone can benefit from studying philosophy, whether that means taking one class or pursuing a doctoral degree. Philosophy has made an appreciable positive difference in my own everyday life; as a professor, I strive to help students connect with the ways that philosophy can enhance their own pursuits, academic or otherwise.
